If you are completely new to the world of digital accessibility, a social media accessibility audit is the best place to start.

I personally evaluate the content on your chosen platform, checking for compatibility with a screen reader, assessing graphics, bios, and providing you with a full written report.  I’ll outline what you are already doing well (you might just be surprised!) And what you need to work on to ensure your content is inclusive.

Alongside the report, you will also be sent screen recordings so that you can hear what your content sounds like currently with a screen reader, and how the improvements will greatly improve your content moving forwards.

Website User Feedback Accessibility Audit

This is very similar to a social media accessibility audit, in that I will personally evaluate your website, and provide full written feedback on the barriers I find, from the perspective of a browsing visually impaired customer. Please note that this audit does not cover WCAG compliance or makes recommendations in respect of this.
You will receive my honest feedback and suggestions on how and where you can make improvements to your website. I’ll also include screen recordings, where appropriate, to demonstrate how your site sounds with a screen reader.

Digital Accessibility Tech Hour

Need a pair of visually impaired eyes to check something out for you? Whether its testing out a new layout, formatting, whether the alt text is working correctly, assessing graphics or writing an image description for a new web page, or any other accessibility tech related task, this is the service for you.

Social Media Accessibility Training

This online delivered training is customised to your business needs and is offered either on a 1:1 or small group basis. Covering all areas of social media content, it ensures a thorough knowledge of what is required to create accessible content.
The session allows for ample question time, and is delivered in a fun, interactive yet practical way. Complete with a digital resource to help embed the training.

The best way to enhance and improve products, services, events and activities is to consult with an expert, someone with genuine lived experience. Being severely sight impaired gives me a different perspective and insight (pun fully intended) and allows me to communicate the challenges and barriers faced by the visually impaired community with brands, businesses and organisations.

Accessible Content Editing Services

If you’ve recognised the importance of having accessible social media content, but just don’t have the time or manpower to invest in your own or your team’s development and training in these skills, then this service is just for you.
